Pops and Nana snapped a quick pic as we were walking into the park.
We spent this day at the Magic Kingdom too. We had done everything except Tomorrowland so we decided to sleep in a little and get to the park later. We had noon reservations at Tony's. It was suppposed to be the Italian restaurant from the Lady and the Tramp and it was GOOOOOOOOOOD. My favorite meal of the week.

Chowing down on some GREAT food
Looooove the Mickey Mouse plate

Loving on Sister
After we stuffed ourselves iwth baked ziti, pizza, chicken parm and tiramisu we headed out to see Tomorrowland. The Buzz Lightyear ride was first on the agenda and it was super fun. you shoot bad guys with a "blaster" and ivey and frank loved it.

The Evil Emperor Zurg!
After the ride, we spotted Buzz Lightyear so we had to get a pic with him!

Buzz!

I love this grin.

We also got a few pics with Chip and Dale (aka "chickendale" according to Ivey) since Nana was sweet enough to wait in that line while we finished up with Buzz.
Next came the Carousel of Progress- Frank remembered this one from his childhood and really liked it. It was pretty neat but a certain 3 year old was ready to move on to bigger and better things.

So then we all got on the people mover and zoomed around tomorrowland!
We all rode the People Mover!
This ride is cool, Mom!
By that time, we had really worked up a sweat so it was time to cool off with a sweet treat- Mickey bars!

Adorable ruffle outfit (courtesy of Aunt Brooke)

What could make anyone smile more than a Mickey Bar? yum, yum!
He was so happy....until about 5 seconds after this picture when his ice cream fell on the ground. (next came the meltdown.)
He really cheered up once we rode the spinning tea cups. you spin around really fast and he just couldn't stop laughing!

He was laughing so hard he couldn't even talk.

Sitting pretty
We walked through several stores this day and both the kids did a thorough inspection of the toys. Riley was mesmerized by the stuffed animals :)

Minnie!!!! I need one!
We ended up near the castle just as a show was starting!

Disney Princesses!

The bad witch from Sleeping Beauty (I can't spell her name)

I loved watching all the little kids sitting on their Daddy's shoulders. I'm pretty sure Ivey was asleep with his chin resting on top of Frank's head.
After the show was over we found a disney photographer to take some family pics.

Riley found a quack-quack as we were making our way out of the park.
Everyone was pretty much pooped at this point so we headed back to the hotel for another swim. The water felt GREAT. We had a few tasty beverages and then nana and pops were sweet enough to watch the kids while Frank and I headed to Downtown Disney for a date!

We kissed the kids good-bye and we were off!
Downtown Disney was a really cool place. Tons of shops, restaurants and even night clubs! We stopped in the Disney Christmas store for a few souveneir ornaments. Frank pretty much had to drag me out of there.

Tough guy

Date night at The Rainforest Cafe
We were both craving seafood so we went to Cap'n Jacks....boy what a disappointment. We had a drink, took one look at the restaurant and moved on. We ended up at the Rainforest Cafe with a GREAT waiter. Very entertaining. I can't remember his name but he was from Morocco and super funny. He asked what kind of music I like and I told him Christian. He then sang his wife's favorite song: "I Can Only Imagine." It was hilarious! (You had to be there to really appreciate it.) We walked around a little after that but many of the shops were closing so we headed back to the hotel.

Great great night with my love!
